Program Information/Mission

The mission of the Patient Access Representative certificate program is to provide knowledge, skills, and professional attitude to prepare students for employment in healthcare provider organizations in entry-level positions, and to prepare students for a pathway to the Health Information Technology Associate of Applied Science degree program.

Admission to Program

Adult Ed students must have a pre-test reading score of 7th grade or higher to qualify for Healthcare Bridge. (Using CASAS assessment).

To move forward into ICAPS, students must have a post-test on file along with a minimum of 2 GED test sections passed to be considered.

To Remain in and Graduate from the Program

Students must have at least a grade of C or better in all courses to remain in the academic program.
